My birthday trip to Oahu, Hawaii is in a little less than a month and I couldn’t be more excited. I am such a planner and with my schedule being so busy this month, I’ve already started packing. I have been to other islands in Hawaii before, but this will be my first time on Oahu.

From what I’ve heard, Oahu is busier with the big city of Waikiki, so since it’ll have a different vibe from the more mellow islands I’ve visited, I was thinking: what am I going to wear? After creating a pretty in-depth Pinterest folder as well as stalking my favorite island girls on Instagram, I came up with some of my own looks. Since I live in Los Angeles, I want to spend time in the more tropical parts of the island, but don’t want to miss the Waikiki experience, so I packed outfits for both.

I will be in Oahu for 7 days, and am really trying to pack light. I put together a style guide with items that can mix and match in order to keep it simple. Let me know what you think and if you have any tips or suggestions for me while I’m visiting, please feel free to leave a comment!
