Who doesn’t love a good brunch? Brunch is one of my favorite weekend activities and now that the weather is warming up, I thought I would share some of my favorites with you! There are so many great places to enjoy, but these are my absolute must-go-to brunch spots in Los Angeles!

Catch LA

If you’ve been reading my blog for some time now, you’ll have seen me talk about my obsession with Catch here. You’ve probably seen photos of it’s gorgeous rooftop on Instagram and their brunch is nothing short of amazing. The food is absolutely delicious and the presentation is almost just as good. Not only is the food top-notch, but the ambiance is right up there with it.

What to order:

  • spicy Bloody Mary
  • Truffle Sashimi
  • Tartar Trio
  • Crispy Shrimp
  • Crunchy Rice Cakes

What you should know:

  • They only take reservations via Open Table and any 6+ party size needs to go through the events department.

The Butcher’s Daughter Venice

This is my go-to if I’m on the Westside. Located on Venice’s Abbot Kinney Boulevard, The Butcher’s Daughter is a must! Since they don’t take reservations, you can also take a walk down the street and visit shops like Cuyana, Caudalie, and Rag & Bone.

What to order:

  • Spicy Kale Salad
  • Breakfast Pizza
  • Juice Flight (my favorite juice is the Pure Passion!)
  • Breakfast Burrito
  • Farro Grain Bowl
  • Avocado Toast

What you should know:

  • They don’t take reservations, but you can give them your phone number and they’ll text you once your table is ready.
  • They have a complete vegetarian menu.

The Ivy

The Ivy is an LA classic and one of my all time favorite spot for brunch with the girls or Mother’s Day. The floral decor and rainbow colored centerpieces are unmatched and the food is just as great! They have a location on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica and one in Beverly Hills.

What to order:

  • Calamari
  • Fresh-squeezed tangerine juice
  • Lobster Ravioli
  • Any of their desserts

What you should know:

  • They get really crowded so it’s recommended that you book in advance. Also make sure you’re booking at the location you prefer. The one in Santa Monica is called Ivy at the Shore.
  • Fairly expensive menu, but good portions.

Perch Downtown LA

Perch in Downtown LA is actually where I celebrated my birthday last year! This place is rooftop heaven with 360 views of the city. This gorgeous venue is perfect for a group of friends or for a 1 on 1 breakfast date!

What to order:

  • Spicy bloody mary
  • French toast
  • Shrimp scampi
  • smoked salmon eggs benedict

What you should know:

  • Book in advance! They get very crowded!
  • Might be a little tricky to find the rooftop, but ask a security guard and they’re happy to help!
