Spring is here and Summer is right around the corner and one of my favorite things to do is head to the river. I’ve been going to the Colorado River my entire life and I’m so excited that we are going for Easter weekend! As I was thinking about what to pack, I decided to make a blog post in case any of you are first time river rats or just need some packing inspo. Usually for the river, there’s no need to over-pack. The temperature is easily in the mid 90’s – low 100’s, so think swim suits & cover-ups! If you read my posthope you enjoy & to shop your favorite items, click on the pictures below!
I bring one for every day I’m on the boat. Usually a black one, white one & a colored one
One that’s long sleeve (in case you get sun burnt), & a couple more that match your suits
I always bring a denim pair (or two) and a comfy pair to wear over my suit or in the car
Bodysuits are my going-out go-to, so I bring one of those & a couple loose fitting tank tops
A pair for going out to dinner & a pair for during the day. The sand gets hot!
Make sure to bring sunnies, a mini speaker, and a visor/hat to cover your face! I like to bring a floaty and some hair oil too. Also – a day full of taking pictures and playing music can leave your phone at low battery, so I always bring a portable charger as well.
