If you follow my blog or know me personally, you know that I always try to use cruelty free products when possible. Thanks to this movement becoming more popular, more options are becoming available. Both my skincare and makeup routine are cruelty free which means that no animal bi-products or animal testing is involved. If you are interested in making the switch or just looking for a new foundation, I have found some amazing cruelty free options from light to full coverage. Keep reading!
Depending on the time of year, a light to medium coverage is what I tend to use for every day wear. They tend to be less drying and more of a natural look, which was great for my trip to Hawaii this Summer. A lot of them also contain an SPF which is an added bonus to achieving beautiful skin!
Now that Fall is upon us, I am starting to use more of a fuller coverage foundation. I use a lot of the Too Faced products and I absolutely love them. However, everyone is different, so I always recommend going to a store like Sephora and having them help you to find the right color and coverage for your complexion.
If you’d like a more natural look, but prefer a fuller coverage, try a medium to full coverage foundation. My person favorite is the Two Faced Born This Way foundation because it offers a flawless look without looking like you caked a bunch on.
If you struggle with acne or redness and prefer a full coverage look, these are some great choices that are 100% cruelty free. This will leave you feeling confident and fully covered witch is great for a night out with the girls or for date night. Also a fuller coverage foundation tends to be more matte, giving you that camera ready look!
I hope this guide to cruelty free foundation helps you to find your perfect look while helping out our animal friends. If you have any that you love that aren’t mentioned above, please feel free to share them in the comments below!
