Every 35 days your skin regenerates itself, while every 30 days, our liver does the same. Your body creates these new cells from the food that you put into your body, so the saying “You are what you eat” couldn’t be more true!
For me, eating healthy is a lifestyle choice. I never tell people that I’m on a diet, but some days I do eat healthier than others. Sometimes, when my week is busier than usual, it’s hard for me to eat how I’d like so when I have the time, I try to eat extra clean.
I often receive questions regarding dietary tips and vegan/vegetarian recipes, so I decided to make a video of what I eat in a normal day (coming soon!). Of course what I eat changes day-to-day, but it will give you a general idea.
When I can, I try to eat organic, dairy free, and gluten free. While I don’t have a gluten intolerance, I’ve noticed that when I restrict gluten from my diet, I tend to experience less bloating. I am lactose intolerant though, so I stay away from dairy.
I have created a Weekly Meal Planner sheet where you can write down each meal as well as your water intake (I try to drink at least 80 ounces of water per day). By using a meal planner, I am able to hold myself accountable for what I eat throughout the week and see where I can improve. Save this image below and print it out if you’d like to keep track with me! I hope this helps if you find yourself with similar dietary restrictions, or are just looking to be more health concious.
